Dervla Leavy
Having graduated with honours from University College Cork in 1999, Dervla went to work in the UK gaining valuable experience in general dentistry. After returning to Ireland she established Dervla Leavy Dental Care in 2004. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association and regularly attends educational meetings and hands on courses.
Claire Foley
Claire Foley graduated from University College Cork in 2012, with an honours Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. Graduating top of her class, Claire was awarded Best Student in Dentistry 2012 by the Irish Dental Association. During her time there she was also awarded the Restorative Dentistry Award by the Dental Council, the Dr. Noel Hayes Award for Oral Surgery and 2nd prize for the Dr. H. H Stewart Scholarship for Dentistry by the National University of Ireland, as well as earning an entrance scholarship by University College Cork for achieving 600points in her Leaving Certificate. She has worked in a number of practices in Limerick, where she is originally from, and Cork gaining much experience. She really enjoys her job and takes special interest in teaching young children about oral health. She also enjoys being able to give nervous patients the time and encouragement they need. When she’s not working, Claire is an avid reader and it is hard to find her without her Kindle.
Chloe O'Riordan
"I joined the dental team in 2012 as a trainee Dental Nurse.I am currently studying for my final exams in UCC to achieve a diploma in Dental Nursing. I have gained vast experience between my job and my studies.I love working with all patients especially children. I take pride in helping maintain the calm and friendly atmosphere that comes natural to all of us at Dervla Leavy Dental Surgery."
